I think the exhaust is made by LeoVince model Touring ;-)

I had the forerunner to the Elystar (The Elyseo) as a commuter. Bad parts on this bike : Exhaust (covered in rust in notime) Brakes are usable, but nowhere near top notch. Wheels are 12` , to small for comfortable riding on bumpy roads , acceptable wheelsize starts at 13`,the front fork is springloaded and adds to the feeling of erratic steering, the original tyres are plain dangerous to your health.

Good points : Huge storage compartment, Comfy (If you ride a perfect road)

Just bought a 2002 TSDI elystar today (UK) and i'm just wondering if there are any points or advice for these scooters, mine tops out around 45mph aprox 70 kmh? Does the touring exhaust make in difference if so how? And also how do i adjust the clock on the dash, as mine is wrong and needs sorting and not a clue how

nice bike. the pegeout Elstars are a great bike. I myself have the 125 model. I notice you have a gumball 3000 sticker on your bike! does that mean you did the ralkly on your bike? if so that would be awesome!

What's the back-rest? Original Peugeot? .. Someone tried to nick my scooter saturday. They didn't bother pushing it.. I think they thought it could be started.. ;-) .. I found it 50 m away.. Thanks to the inboard immobilizer..

Nice scoot.. I have the same model. Though mine is silver. Tell me, is the exhaust original. Mine is different!
