hi, there is another version of making Gujarati kadhri, like blending some young fresh tover dana, aba ardh, young curry leaves & fresh dhana, & green chillies blend all & make
in small balls warp it in plastic place all in deep freezer, to use any time of the year, & it's so tasty, y don't u ppl try it.

when I used to watch my mum make kadhi and khichiri I thought that's it, I can never do it-so many steps! Tonight I was craving this type of food and so thanks to this video and a few others I made my first kadhi and khichiri dish and it was really nice! Can't wait to try something else out next time! Thanks :)

@ShowMeTheCurry The bengalgram makes the Kadhi yellowish but I notice that in many places, the Kadhi is as white as the curd. How is that so ?

@aviskp : It is the Haldi (Turmeric) that makes the Kadhi yellow not the besan - omit the haldi and you have white kadhi :)
