I beat this game on arcade years ago playing as the cleric. I didn't have enough quarters to figure out how to beat the red dragon. I thought it was impossible back then. Now I see that it can be done.

no I understand. I just hate it when people say ridiculous times for things like this and they have no proof to back it up. I'm not accusing you of anything, I'm just saying this as a whole. I'm sorry if I came off as a total dick.

still ill give u a tip, this man on this vid would have taken much less time if he would have concentrated on the dragon's head with the left attack right attack combination...i used to be a figher tough. oh, i correct myself, it was not 1.20 min for the red dragon, it was 2.10, i inverted the values. if ill manage to take a vid ill post it up.

i'm sorry i dont have a video since this happened more than 6 years back and it was in the coin-up version of the game...the controls are easier as well and it's much more easy to dodge the dragon's attacks than using keyboard or joypad.
wished i had a video, u are right on ur side....u are free not to believe me.
btw is there anyone who still plays tower of doom on kaillera?

I love this game. Got good enough to beat it on one quarter with every character, but I could never beat the red dragon. I always chose the path to the beholder. That was awesome. I've waited a long time to see that. Thank you. The cleric was my first character, but towards the end I really liked using the fighter. Do you think you could beat the Red Dragon using the same strategy with the the fighter?
