bwhip races the Aprilia SXV550 on the West Track at Miller, in the Twins GTU class in the Masters of the Mountains series, May 2009. Ultimately this became a great battle for second place between me, Scott Ferguson on a Buell, Todd Seaver on a Suzuki SV650, and Noah Talley on a two-stroke. Just four turns from the checkered flag, well, you'll see....
Watched this as part of a thread found on MotorcycleAddicts.
Pity about the end.
I don't mean to be nasty, but I didn't see a battle for second place, there were about 10 riders from the start and unless many overtakes were edited out, it didn't look like you moved up more than 3 or 4 places.
I'm not a hater - actually thinking of getting an SXV 5.5
Hope it has been sorted now ;)

@mightlife
There were two classes that raced in that particular event. If you watch again at the start, you'll notice a big gap between the bike in front of me, and the other class (Amateur GTU) out ahead of us. Ours was indeed a battle for second place in the Twins GTU class.

It appears to me (and felt like), when I accelerated coming out of the turn, it unloaded the front suspension, while the tire was still under quite a bit of stress from the inside line I was taking. This reduced grip and caused the front to tuck.
