Not going to lie, Mallary Hope's version is better. Mall is original artist for the song. She is also the one of the co-writters. Look it up.

@mommynab I was just saying that Mallary took it in for her single and was told, no. That's when it was handed over to Lauren. Just for the people saying Lauren shouldn't have the song, because it was Mallary's.

@mommynab Mallary is happy to have Lauren record two of her songs, especially to have this one be the next single. Mallary won't release the song as her single, it would just be an album cut for her fans. Look at Brantley Gilbert. Just starting up his career, wrote a few smash Jason Aldean songs. However, he's got those songs on his album. Mallary won't steal the spotlight from Lauren's song, it would just be something for Mallary's fans who heard the song before Lauren cut it.

Litzena, as others have mentioned, I don't find this bad at all. And the pic on the back of her album is beautiful. She is 100% clothed, American Idol is not going to put out an all Christian album but hers and Scotty's is a mix. Even Carrie had Last Name, Before He Cheats, etc.... if you do want only the cuts with a religious angle, you can download those tracks on ITunes.  I have teenaged kids and believe me, Georgia Peaches is clean!! Some of this other stuff, whoa. Explicit Sticker!

@LitZena i don't find anything too provocative about Georgia Peaches. If you listen to the lyrics it's actually a sassy yet sweet song. there is nothing sexual about this song, you're wrong. Lauren is sassy by nature and that's who she will always be and that's what her fans LOVE about her personality, this song fits her to a tee. Apparently you're the first i've seen to make such comments. so give it a break will ya? ;)
