Artist: The Rolling Stones
Album: Exile On Main Street (1972)
Track: 14

Who's that woman on your arm all dressed up to do you harm
And I'm hip to what she'll do, give her just about a month or two.
Bit off more than I can chew and I knew what it was leading to,
Some things, well, I can't refuse,
One of them, one of them the bedroom blues.
She delivers right on time, I can't resist a corny line,
But take the shine right off you shoes,
Carryin', carryin' the bedroom blues.
Oo...

In the bar you're getting drunk, I ain't in love, I ain't in luck.
Hide the switch and shut the light, let it all come down tonight.
Maybe your friends think I'm just a stranger,
Some face you'll never see no more.

Let it all come down tonight.
Keep those tears hid out of sight, let it loose, let it all come down.

  • The Departed!

  • What an amazing sounding song,so rich and beautiful. The Stones were most definitely THE band of the '70s with every great album they did. And though many might not agree, think of any other bands that have held up for so long and through so many changes in music styles.

  • @lindseywagners Who can play like Mick Taylor

  • Have the vinyl of "Exile". This is my favorite song on the album I think. So many great sounding harmonies with the instruments and the back-up singers. Piano and organ too. Gotta love it.

  • Incredible track.

Mick Taylor gets such a beautiful tone on this with his guitar-it sounds like a voice!

    An absolute highlight of "Exile".

  • fantastica, troppo bella!

  • @queijomutante Gimme Shelter! Right in the beginning of course.

  • @hornick18 There is another song from the Stones on the film right? could you tell me the name of the song?

  • Does anyone know why the stones have never performed this song live?
