@coverchenko Yes but their goals are different. Opposing political parties operate in similar ways that is the nature of the beast, but they have different aims.

Thank you for this.

@Caspar33 "Into what is as yet unknown". Unknown! It's been known for over 150 years Socialism. Please don't use the USSR as an example of socialism, and it not working. The USSR was no more an example of socialism, than the USA, UK, and all the other so called democratic countries, are an example of TRUE Democracy. That is rule of the people BY the people.

Yup, exactly why I didn't use it myself. I don't know what you feel but seems to me that all the terms have been so either cheapened or twisted by manipulative big-mouths over the decades that it is essential to try and create a new language. Find some simple, accurate terms for the scum that have no trace of conscience or compassion left in them and for what they have been doing to everyone and for the vilest of motives.

@Caspar33 I disagree. Just because some evil men usurped a term does not mean it should be cast aside. It's the capitalist who should throw out their language. To capitalise on something is to exploit it. I'm happy to call myself a socialist, and will be to my dying day.

Exactly what MM said. Who mentioned the USSR, not me! But I did miss out a second 'is'. (what now is - is totally..)

@Caspar33 No true you did not mention USSR. I did because I usually have the retort about the USSR when ever I mention Socialism as the only alternative to the market system. I felt that Moore when asked what is the alternative, would have liked to say socialism, but was somewhat reluctant to do so, as I think it's a dirty word in the US. But I may be totally wrong.
