i notice that currently, all the ukrainian gymnast are all rather good but none of them are YET as amazing as Bessonova. :(

I love that comment re: letting Kushnerova develop her own style rather than copy Bess. I totally agree and I think that's one thing the UKR federation should really think about changing if they want to keep up with other countries. The Deriuginas did hit on a winning "formula" with Bessonova, but training younger gymnasts to mimic her style only produces weaker, watered-down copies of Bessonova rather than stronger, competitive gymnasts that can go head to head with the rest of the field.
