  • @maccagrabme dnb producer icicle uses a sh101 and he has amazing basslines, its all about effects and post processing aswell though.

  • niiice a blue one

  • 1:34 bloody beetroots! im getting one of these thanks for actually using it the way it should be used..all these other videos are pure cheese

  • I've yet to hear a SH101 do anything useful other than a reasonable synthpop bass sound and even then its not exactly deep. I owned one years ago and got completety bored with it within a couple of months and got a Juno instead. The sounds here highlight how limited this is, its exactly the rubbish I got out of it when I owned one. The 101's are ridiculously overrated and worth about £150, much better to get a Moog.

  • I once had a SH101, nowadays I only have TAL Bassline, a VST that totally rocks. Ok it ain't the real thing, but at least it gives me these sounds.

here in this vid i got mine synced up to the MDUW. check the Iced Cooley Beatnik goof video. the first vid in the movies section

just plug your tempo source into the click input, you need a dedicated track and output for your click track. EXT CLK IN [beside hold]

i us my MDUW to sync my SH101. i used a loud, super tuned up kick drum for my click sound.

you gotta fiddle around to get the right sound to be a reliable click. ive used logic as well to sync the SH101....again just need the right sound. i cant remember at what pitch, but the metronome worked well.

  • i have one, and i don't know how to control the tempo (arpegios & lfo) from an external source, i've heard that it is possible with midi clock

    can anyone please explain

i am unexperienced with cv in and midi clock

  • ive heard stories about this synth very easliy breaking speakers because it's just such a monster of sound!
