The AirHogs Hyperactive is the first 2.4 GHz controlled RC car from AirHogs,

It has more power then it knows what to do with, it can go up to 20 Miles per hour and has a range of up to one hundred feet. it charges from the transmitter in about 30 minutes and drives for about 10 minutes.

The Hyperactive retails for about 49.99 and it's great for kids and adults, you can have a lot of fun racing them indoors and outdoors. They can handle almost any obstacle so you can make all sorts of race tracks and off road tracks to drive on.

The package includes the car capable of 20 MPH, a set of foam tires and a set of rubber tires, and a 2.4 GHz transmitter / charger.

You can race as many at a time as you want without worrying about interference, they charge in about 30 minutes and drive for about 10.
The transmitter has 2 settings, one for slower indoor and one for full 20 MPH outdoor speeds, it also has a forward reverse trim and the car has a left right trim.

They are definitely a lot of fun indoors, they can drive slowly over obstacles that you wouldn't imagine it could handle, and you can move quickly in a race.

The steering is bang bang steering though, which means if you turn left it goes full left so turning at full speed will make you flip, but the roll bar works really well and it should flip you right back over and have you driving in no time.

The song used in the video is called Shiny Tech 2

  • I had the same charging problem however I am not sure if it is just the flashing light of the charger that is not working correctly and maybe it is charging as i have used it several times but mostly bought is for my little girl. Can anyone else confirm or deny that the charger is actually charging even though the light isn't?

  • @xavierlx Mine would drive but only for about 10 seconds after the full 45 minute flashing light cycle. I think the charger itself was the problem.

  • my hyperactive had the same charging problem and i do not have another transmitter to charge it with. i there a chance i could fin just a transmitter on the web that is not sold on ebay i hate ebay ps: when your charger id doing its job does it flash a while then stop

  • @vfxmoviefreak Mine flashed for 45 minutes then stopped like it was charged.

Airhogs or the store you got it from should be willing to replace it, you shouldn't have to buy a new charger, it's hard to think of a place other then ebay that would sell a helix transmitter or another hyperactive transmitter.

  • Is your reverse delayed?

  • @flyboyfx The hyperactives reverse is delayed, but the 3D twisters reverse isn't.
