This is a performance of "Maybe I'm Amazed", from an episode of "Live From Studio A", which originally aired on WQED in October, 2002. It features Pete Hewlett on lead vocals, along with the Hewlett -Anderson band, including Scott Anderson, Lisa Bleil, Dave Brown, Eric DeFade, Brian Stahurski and Joe Waslousky.
This song was used to close the show, which is why you'll see the original show credits running toward the end of the song.
Novo Combo rocked. Saw them at the Agora Ballroom in West Hartford in the early 80's.

Nobody sings McCartney better than Pete Hewlett. Well....except for (maybe) McCartney. Pete - PM should have signed you on 30 years ago. Thanks for all of the memories starting with the Pipers, Sweet Lightnin' and on.... you inspired me from the time I was 15.
all the best.

I just came across this video. I've been hearing McCartney's version for more years than I care to count. The group wisely uses the same arrangement yet their sound gives a fresh, new sound to the song. I REALLY like this version of one of my favorite songs. Thanks for posting.
