  • @env7174hs Thanks, I'm definitely loving this setup, and it's helped me many times in tight spots, both in the city, and out in the woods in tight trails.

  • I was also hung-up on the wires for the wireless camera semantics, but after reading the previous comments: "I see said the blind man." by blind man. :o)

Great logic on the positioning of the camera to keep it safe, out of the elements, and where the wiper cleans the rear windshield. I thought of using a similar setup with wireless IP cameras on a Gov vehicle that has a computer network in it.

  • @JohnnyUterus Yes, the video feed is wireless. Of course you need power wired to it. Running on batteries would be crappy

  • @JohnnyUterus Yes. But of course the screen and camera need power... but there is no wiring between the screen and the camera. The video is sent wirelessly.

"Wireless" doesn't really mean no wires at all, it means signals are sent wirelessly. If you go buy a laptop with built-in wireless, you still need to plug it in to the wall for power....

  • ummmm...does the description not say WIRELESS...
