The Battle of the Big Reds

The teams' annual Thanksgiving weekend battle was almost always for the Big 8 title and a trip to the Orange Bowl. However, since the advent of the Big 12, the teams no longer play every year and, save for meetings in 2000, 2001 and the 2006 Big 12 Championship game, at least one side is playing for pride while the powerhouses collide.
