Shiatsu workshop for the sitting position by Yoko Abe 4

Yoko Abe, administrator of the Canadian College of Shiatsu Therapy, instructed Shiatsu for the sitting position to the JETAABC members. Participants found the Shiatsu workshop very interesting and saw the effects of Shiatsu. The Canadian College of Shiatsu Therapy staff were impressed by the participants, who took the workshop seriously. Akiko Miyamoto, Shiatsu foundation class instructor at the Canadian College of Shiatsu Therapy, Jack Miro and Tetsuya Takahashi, both assistant instructors at the Canadian College of Shiatsu Therapy, assisted the participants individually to explain the detail of the instructions. After the workshop, there was no end to questions on how to do Shiatsu treatment among the participants. It was a huge success.
JETAABCメンバーへ、カナダ指圧カレッジ教務部長阿部陽子による座位指圧の実技指導が行われました。ワークショップの直前に実際に指圧を受け、その効果を目の当たり­にした参加者にとって、このワークショップは大変興味を惹く内容だったようで、参加者一人一人が真剣な面持ちで取り組まれていた様子がとても印象的でした。施術中は真剣で­も、施述語はパートナーとの間で自然と笑みがこぼれます。ワークショップ中は、カナダ指圧カレッジ基礎指圧クラスの宮元亜希子インストラクター、Jack Miroアシスタントインストラクター、高橋哲哉アシスタントインストラクターが参加者一人一人に直接手を取り合っての補助を行い、遠目では伝わり難い細かな点をその場で­改善指導しました。ワークショップ後も、個人的に施術方法を尋ねてくる参加者が後をたちませんでした。
