Before I upload the Works Tour Debate, I have a treat for every single one of the subscribers I have! This is a LEGITIMATE audience recording of the legendary Earls Court concert that Queen played! Up until this point, the only audio sources were from the common video source! Months have been spent trying to get this source in the best possible quality possible. There is a large team people responsible for this source becoming available (this will be explained at the bottom of the description)! The quality is quite listenable, and it's complete (save for the occasional fades in and out of some tracks)!
Queen play a great show overall, and the audience is very enthusiastic (now that we can hear them)! There are a few moments of the "home-town nervousness," but that can be excused! Freddie sounds pretty good overall, but his higher register is a bit hit-and-miss on some songs (AKA the "Death On Two Legs" schoolboy blooper as an example). He makes up for that by delivering great versions of "Somebody To Love," "Killer Queen," "Keep Yourself Alive," and "Liar." He also sounds awesome on the rock-and-roll medley towards the end of the show! Brian's guitar solo is also excellent (some people claim it's one of his best)!
Credits for this release:
-Gary Taylor: He supplied us this recording! Without him, this would not have happened. I love that man! He also helped out with the artwork!
-Jim Jenkins: For originally taping this source!
-Alex Solan: His lovely artwork is wonderful! That man NEEDS to get recognized for his hard work!
-Jimmy Payne: He has done an excellent job of remastering the sound! I need this guy to fix some some concerts (like Glasgow/Brussels 1974)!
-Richard Guilbault/Inuliger: He has supervised this project, touched-up a few loose ends, and has offered me helpful advice on audio work!
-All I did, was fix the speed and pitch of the original recording.
-Sir GH/Bob: He offered some great advice on the EQing part, and his helpful hints and tips were essential to this project!
-TSS_Killer: Also had some helpful advice about the sound! Was also great in giving us his opinions about various stages of the project!
Credit can also be given to thebiggestqueenfan for "previewing" a couple songs on Queenzone and Youtube!
Thanks to everybody involved! This was a blast, and I hope we can all work on another project like this!
