Were the provocative claims in this video vetted by credentialed historians and found to be plausible I would consider believing them. Until then it just looks like somebody wants to shit all over the memory of the real victims and heroes of the slavery holocaust, by saying in effect that we have to make up fictions that are more horrible than the documented facts because the truth is not horrible enough. And when this is done by some huckster to make a buck it is particularly reprehensible.

@ConciousEcho And "highlight" I guess is a scientific technical term for supporting one hoax with another? The topic is the ridiculous claims in the video. You want us to believe they are true and so throw in everything but the kitchen sink to distract us from the obvious fact that they are outlandish fiction.

The claims in the video make no sense on their very face, the Willy Lynch speech was proven to be a fraudulent document full of anachronisms, debunked by black historians. How is one obvious hoax proven by another obvious hoax?

Think it through. Alligator hunters' bread and butter depended on catching alligators, period. Dogs/chickens were cheap bait. 19th century and 18th century existence was hard. People lived a far shorter lifespan. The mid-30s was middle-aged, and by then most were hobbling through life burdened by the result of various injuries and incurable illnesses. Slave quarters were crowded. Slaves were the valuable property of their owners. Anyone attempting to steal a slave could be shot on sight.

@ConciousEcho This is sophistry of type used for centuries by racists to prove Africans were worthy of slavery. A fraud is a fraud is a fraud. When claiming historical fact the proof has to at least smell of authenticity. It is better that people keep writing novels and singing songs about the facts we really know than to make shit up. The victims and heroes of the African holocaust deserve better than for hucksters to invent more shocking atrocities than those that really happened.
