  • 0:25 ... in the back there is just a hand appearing out of nowhere... I jumped out of my seat!!

  • @kcbszone Don't worry. We are pretty sure that is not some sort of drum ghost or ghoul. :)

  • Good video. Would have loved to see him play just a bit. Funny he mentioned about loose hardware at the beginning. I have a DW custom kit and my first gig out, when i was setting up I heard something rolling around inside my 14" floor tom. one of the screws that holds the leg had come loose and was flopping around in there. I had to take off the head and found that most of the mounting hardware was loose so tightened it all up. But I am sure that was a fluke. I am TOTALLY stoked with my kit.

  • @kristiant007 Kind of flukey we guess. :) Sorry about that. We tighten those screws to a point where we do not damage the shell but tight enough to not have fall out. We appreciate your understanding and thanks so much for choosing DW!

  • Those crashes are HIGH

  • @Hartman442 High to get hit hard!

  • DW, I know I am going to get flamed for this but I am so happy that you guys decided to pick up Cobus Potgieter. I'm very happy that you all recognize him as the future in drumming.

  • @DrummerEvansAki Thanks so much for your enthusiasm towards our gear! Doesn't sound to bad moving from Portland to Hawaii though right?!?

No plans to make an exotic Koa shelled kit at this time. We prefer using maple, birch, gum mahogany and poplar woods for right now. Our list has grown over the years for different shells so you never know. :) Aloha!

  • If I lived near DW, I'd put in a resume because I would love to work for DW learning to build kits and stuff. Figure I use the product. I love the product. I would be honored to work for Drum Workshop. But I live in Portland. I'm moving to Hawaii.

Wonder if DW would make a Hawaiian Koa Shell kit. I'd love to experiment and hear how Koa would sound.

  • @DrumWorkshopInc see thats my exact problem. is i cant seem to get a recording contract with any one or find a band that i enjoy playing with. so what i'm looking for is a company who wants to be well represented and help a musician make a name for themselves do you possibly know of any audio equipment makers and/or recording companies that would help me with making videos for the internet to gain some notoriety. or maybe helping out with like some way to get my name out i'm young,i know my stuf

  • @skid432 We are flattered that you have chosen DW as your preferred drums and your endorsement.

We have a formal application process that everyone must go through. You can download the application and read more about it here:

Your odds of getting an endorsement deal are greater if you already have other endorsements (cymbals, sticks, heads, etc...), a recording contract, and a touring schedule.
