Get your life back in 60 seconds. A Generac generator is an effective, 100% automatic emergency back-up power system that restores electricity to your large or small home automatically, within seconds. That's all it takes to get your life and home in working order. When the power returns, your propane gas generator automatically shuts off. With an emergency stand-by generator from J.S.Schiess Power Systems, there's no need to sit in a dark home and be exposed to the dangers of unsafe mold and lack of alarm systems...or be without air conditioning, computers and television. Quiet and environmentally friendly, a Generac Power generator will power: •Appliances •Air Conditioners •Security Systems •Computers •Safety Equipment •Medical Equipment •Sewer Pumps •Pool Pumps

  • i would like to get a briggs and straton 7kw generator do you know how long it would last on 250 gallon propane tank?

  • @MrDispatch123 Liquid Propane ft3/hr 1/2 Load (0.94) (gal/hr) [3.56][Liter/hr]

    Full Load (1.68) (gal/hr) [6.36][Liter/hr]

  • I can only imagine how much fuel that thing would burn in a year just from its weekly exercise let alone if there ever were an extended outage.

  • @danielthechskid most people that have this unit , have deep pockets

  • este tipo de generador puede funcionar las 24 horas seguidas? los 7 dias de la semana?

  • A GX160 will only take a 4KW head to about half output but I should be able to start any power tool or window A/C I want to.

The house in the vid must have some seriously large loads for a gen of that size, I seriously doubt it will ever be run at 60-80% capacity unless this house has an electric on-demand hot water system, either that or it is a pot grow house:-) (I have watched every episode so far of Showtime's show Weeds.)

  • @selec21 Understood. When i first looked for a backup generator years ago the first thing I looked at logically was a 24KVA unit to handle standard 100 amp service, then as time went on I learned about fuel usage and what is actually needed and for now have one of those Chicom 2 stroke 1KW gens which will run my natural gas furnace and some lights, and I plan to build my own gen around a Honda GX160 and an OLD Pincor 4KW 120/240v head.with a car flywheel for surge loads.

  • @abyssunderground I have a 17KW and I can only run my water heater, HVAC, Well pump, plugs, lights, and that's it. My oven is left in the dark as are electric heaters. the 48 KW can and will power all of that with out a hiccup.
