So message from the last test... PHEW!... I wondered why the amps dropped and the van was making funny noises!

And I got news for you. NEW PERSONAL RECORD! 500ml in 32.9 seconds! I made 3 test attempts. The first test was just over 37 seconds - But this also had to clear water from the lines so don't know if that would affect it. 2nd test, just over 33 seconds and 3rd was 32.9. Considering my previous best was 2mins 30 seconds I'm extremely pleased!

Also, you will see me install the unit into my van. Tomorrow I will begin testing the MPG rate. :)


My eventual goal is to power my van off of water - by extracting Hydrogen out of the Water and feeding it to the fuel mix chamber.

  • Can you please tell me if you are heating the water to make HYDGOGEN from the vans RADIATOR.

    WHAT IS THE REASON WHY you can not run the diesel engine ON PURE HYDROGEN.????

    IF THIS IS BECAUSE IT IS TO Explosive, I believe you need only to run hydrogen ina magnetic field to keep the electrons under control. Hope thie is of some help. i look forward to seeing you get 100% H2O as well

  • Hi,

    No, the water heats up naturally from the electrolysis process.

    The eventual goal is to power the van entirely off of HHO. Of course this is very difficult to do though - I've only ever seen 2 vehicles being 100% powered from water. By Stan Meyers and Daniel Dingel. Neither of them however have publicised their secrets and Meyers is now dead.

  • Also, I believe others are experimenting with magnetic fields also. It's beyond my capabilities though, so I hope if you do make any progress, you publish your findings publicly so others can benefit too.

  • KOH or Potassium Hydroxide is being used.

    This is filtered tap water, but I agree about using Distilled.

    I didn't use Distilled because I didn't have enough. However, I want to use this in a real world environment so don't want to be using Distilled water as it costs almost as much as Diesel! Eventually I want it to run 100% tap water.

  • If your cell gets brown and gunky use distilled water tap water contaminants cause the cell to clog you will need to clean it if that happens try pressure washing it should come off other wise you may need to disassemble the cell to clean it what are you using as an electrolyte, baking soda will damage it.

    0,5 liter in 32,9 seconds at 13,6 volts / 19,5 amps gives 40% efficiency. Not bad.

  • so you are doing about 3 milliters per minute per watt of energy input ... not bad, not bad at all ... the typical commercially available systems rately get better than 2 mmw so you are doing MUCH better than average ... the best I have seen is about 7 mmw ...

    nice job ... hell of a job actaully ...

    now, get us some numbers on your gas milage ... you have about 1 LPM being delivered ... a 20% improement would be exellent ... any more than that would be extraordinay ...
