This is called anti-intellectualism.. and it will lead you to nihilism, you cannot trust anything written or spoken by man, and that includes yourself. And yes, this is true--I used to live with this above view. You don't live this way, there are many things you trust without searching out. Your own knowledge is not even self-verifiable.. without God, we cannot know anything for sure. God is the giver of knowledge and wisdom.

Look for truth, not for something to believe in.
