  • @sparkle11231 Boy, My wife and I tried a bunch of things. Heat gun, iron, ice chipper, scoring and soaking. Nothing made the job easy. I think it depends a lot on the type of floor and glue. We seemed to have a tuff one, and bet we spent 20 hours on a small 10 by 12 room. After we got started, I started to wonder about how nice carpet would be. Glad we went with tile though. I bet glued down tiles would be easier to get up.

  • I use one of the broom length scrapers with the 3" wide razor on the end... then I jab at the vinyl edges like I'm shuffle board playing. This enables me to put all my body weight and momentum into each thrust. This works FAST

  • cant u rent a machine at home depot that u simply push across the floor and scrape this all up???
