Holy man Pandit Surender Sharma had claimed he could murder a man using simply his mind. So after hearing his boasts of the lethal talent sceptic Sanal Edamaruku challenged him to kill him there and then. Mr Edamaruku — head of the Indian Rationalist Association — said calmly: "Go on then - kill me." The mystic was at first unwilling but finally relented and agreed to prove his powers.

  • @KRSchannel: "there is something beyond the boundaries of our human brain capacity"

So? You attach a label to this "something" based on your logically fallacious argument from ignorance? So what if we don't know? How does that prove a possible supernatural presence? If we don't know something, then we don't know it, and we must scientifically understand it. Engaging in false dichotomy of fitting "God/supernatural being" in these gaps is detriment to rational thinking.

  • if you want something measureable look at the "fire Yogi" India has alot of real miracles, just because this one is a fraud doesn't mean there are no real gurus!!!

  • This is 10 thousand funnier than any any stand up comedy.

  • Good India TV

  • @tarnicles My comment is not on behalf of anyone but me. It has nothing to do with what you believe or think. I just said what I felt and what I have known and gone through in life so far. So please stop taking it personally. I am not seeking any attention in this forum.

  • @prateekprakash1 scientific is usually measurable, repeatable etc.

The only energy we've seen in the failed tantric mumbo-jumbo was made by tongue of the "guru" and his apprentices. mengelenge linglingling mostacena.... That created waves, audio waves in fact, but w/o any effect except my ears hurt.

when repeated a million times SUPERSTITION is repeated a million times..... and using word "scientific" in your statement does not add any credibility, especially if U dont understand it's meaning

  • @rurukoshyv need more guys like u!

  • i volunteer for this new challenge....i will do it if given the chance...let that pundit or any other pundit try that on me...

  • when we were kids we used to talk about Aladdin and his magic lamp with so much enthusiasm....but then we grew up....this pundit dude is still living the Aladdin dream...lol haha

  • @anava84 there is a figure of speech in bengali and perhaps other indian languages as well: nachtegiye uthan baka, meaning the stage is bent during the dance. basically, it means making excuses for an inability. i do believe that applies to you in this instance.

  • @prateekprakash1 yeah, we just those vibrations being extremely effective, didn't we?
