I'm fortunate enough to work two blocks away from Market Street in San Francisco, so I decided to capture an unforgettable moment in San Francisco history as the city hosted a ticker tape parade to honor the 2010 World Series Champions, the San Francisco Giants.
There were thousands of spectators just at the intersection of Market and Cyril Magnin alone. I believe that there were over an estimated 300,000 people attending the historic event along downtown San Francisco. They flocked from all over the Bay Area, some even driving from as far as Seattle, Washington to witness a nearly inconceivable coronation that was 52 years in the making.
Well done! Wish I could have been there. Thanks for posting!
