"Era" Opening

This is the opening cinematic to a custom campaign using Warcraft 3 models, involving myself, some friends, and World of Warcraft friends, all to a fictional custom story. This is not the final result, and more of a "BETA" test, to see how the actual cinematic would play. It's short, and simple, but promising, and satisfying nevertheless.

I personally handled the technical side designing the in-game results, while friends handled storyline, art, maps, etc.

How do custom campaigns work?

If you release this to public (not saying that you should do), you have to to make X maps for X episodes and then people download each map with its own triggers? Or, all stuff from the campaign (maps, trigers, sounds, cinematics) is compressed in one file on a certain format?

Im also interested in doing one with my friends (with our actual faces and story) but i dont know how to build the enteire campaign in one.

Sorry for the delay, I was on a vacation. Well the actual campaign can be saved as one gigantic file. The individual missions/cinematics are all their own files integrated into the large one, and (although I'm sure you can rearrange them, it's more work) developed as you see it. As far as triggers and everything is concerned, you have to manually work them out with the tool Blizzard packs with WC3; it's not too bad, and easy to pick up though.

As you can see, some Rs trolls dwell here occasionally. Anyway, wow I almost forgot all about this...... maybe I'll work on it again... some more.... idk, depends on time and mood.
