What really steams me about feminism is that there was a time that it really was about equality. If a woman wanted to be a doctor, the best she could hope for was to be a nurse.

But now the opportunities are there. Women are becoming doctors, lawyers and scientists. And they are respected in their fields of choice. Now the movement has lost its way and has become the anthesis of what it originally set out to do.

Expertism aside, the proles have been robbed of acknowledging status amongst their own - though achievement -- due to egalitarianism and the ease of acquisition of false idols of consumerism. Thus a new religion is born, where nobility and peer respect is now determined by the saintliness of victim defense. A marker both rich and poor can obtain, its coin- that of indignation, its glory - compassion. Fuel for every radical, the new crusades upon every injustice.
