people are giving her shit because how famous she is, and how she actually sucks. but understand that she has never claimed to be better than X or that she is the greatest. She is good, but compared to most soloists, she does sound like an absolute wreck. Also do understand that she is often playing on an amplified/electric violin, so you obviously aren't going to get sound/character you would from a regular one. PS. I've never been able to withstand listening to her for more than 30 sec.
