Harun Khan Vs Declan Buckland - BLCC Midland title fight

Declan Buckland from Dudley's Black Country Combat gym and Harun Khan from Birmingham USKA gym contested the BLCC boys 10-12 years 35-40kg Midland area title on the 3rd February as top of the bill on the Bai Lang BLCC promoted Light Continuous event.
The fight evolved into a non stop, high energy encounter swinging back and forth over 5 rounds between two hungry, relentless and ambitious youngsters.
Often a little to intense and drawing power warnings from referee Dale Wood the fight ended with opinion in the crowd divided on who had done enough to justify the win.
The judges also were split in their opinion with scores of 49/47, 47/49, 48/48 leaving the bout as a draw.
This opens up a rematch opportunity for both fighters and is currently under negotiation with both camps.
