  • I thank you all for the comments. It gives me a heady pleasure to see that serious discourse still thrives here, in this domain of such addled philistines. Bravo to you all! And keep up the good work!

And to my esteemed colleage Cahill: I only hope that one day I might produce a work even capable of glimpsing your rarefied standards of art. Faith be with me, brother!

  • the internet is a cruel and indifferent mistress.

    haahhhaaahahhahahaa

this is the saddest comment i have ever read. you need to get some friends pal.

  • For another kind of comment about Hegel, watch in my channel under "Dr Magnesio and dialectics". Will I find as many angry watchers as you did?

  • But since you can't be bothered to understand that, then I can't be bothered to continue this little discussion.

I'd say thanks for providing me with such diversion, but "nice try" seems more apt.

Purvey your sophomoric anger elsewhere, man; the internet is a cruel and indifferent mistress.

  • An hour? It may have taken 10 minutes, but that's only because I was distracted with a great youtube video on Kant's sublime.

What's more, if I had taken an hour to write it that still isn't ironic, you twit. The length of time required for composition, whether brief or extended, in this case has no bearing upon expectation or intention of author or audience. You describe "Alanis Morrissette" irony, i.e., not actual irony.

  • [cont.] Applying this same irony to your own comment, your misplaced pejorative ("narcissistic pseudo-bohemian-artist") should instead commend my "selfless, authentic artistry"--and for that I can only offer my sincerest gratitude.

  • To Anormaloide: before you presume to tackle the lofty abstractions of a formidable western mind such as Hegel's (and from the internet no less; a discerning philosophy student you certainly are), I should suggest a remedial course in irony. It will serve you well in all your dealings with the vast and polysemous World of the Wide Web.

  • I don't understand much, but I do understand that Andrew here needs a haircut and should stop wearing black. The tortured artist thing is just so blasé.

  • I must admit, I was expecting slightly better from you. I'm not impressed. This video is boring, pretentious, unfunny, and pedestrian. Interesting, perhaps, to you and your friends, but no one else. I give it an F plus. You sure do talk big, though! I suppose your talent lies more in criticism, not so much in filmmaking. No student emmys in your future, pal.
