@slotuck CSNY.

I think they're the only band from that era with all original members still alive !!!
-
@phatboy1967: "Can't quite get it together?" Are you kidding me???
-
wow,,totally cool,,they cant quite get it together b cause there is an absence of acid ,everyone was doin it when cream was formed and during the whole existence of cream, thats why it kinda sounds like shit except the drumming,,,but clapton is god,,,THE REAL GUITAR GOD,,,ya know,,,whos with me on this one??
-
Gibson I`m sure Eric Clapton played a Fender Stratocaster
-
@caesarcerf No doubt. Clapton hasn't been great since 1968. There's a reason for the old joke: "How is Eric Clapton like coffee? They both suck without Cream."
-
I disagree. Ginger is maybe 60% of himself - he was ill with cancer. even without; his 70+ yrs. limbs don't hit quite on top of the beat nor nearly so hard.
2. the indirect sound from this bootleg does Cream no favor but this is not a good Clapton solo - as some of the Albert Hall solos were.
3. I AGREE. No Gibson, no Cream sound. Funny enough, Clapton just played oh, maybe 9 months ago in England and strapped on an SG - said, "i haven't played with this passion in 20 years." duh.
-
@Yardbirdsfan I think I have seen an interview where the guitarist talk about their Gibsons. Both Bruce and Clap tried to play on em when they first started the rehearsals but they just didnt have the same energi with the SG's as they had in the good ol days
-
drumming sounds different or is it just because its live?
-
ya the gibson sounds so much better on this song
I wish Eric Clapton played a Gibson like in the old days because that was the cornerstone in the sound of Cream.
