When I came out my mother and step father were far from accepting. When they finally realized that I was perfectly capable of erasing them from my life, they started getting all accepting and trying to bring me back. Not too long I discovered that they are using me for my income. I hate them. I've left again, and I hope they fucking rot.

I am slowly building that courage in me so that one day, in the very near future, I can stand up and tell my family with the optimism that everything will be ok.

I think its becuz they feel like its something they did or didnt do..my sons dad nvr spent much time wth him-but spends time wth his brother-i dnt knw if he doesnt feel comfortable around him or what. like he doesnt hv anything in common or to talk abt (manly things) but it really hurts him. He acts like he doesnt care but he does. Whn we were married I tried 2 talk 2 my husb abt it but he refused. He nvr says anything negative abt it he just doesnt acknowledge him being gay. myb 1 day he will

I fell for you! My son is gay & I hv known it since he was abt 4yrs old. We have an open and loving relationship, his father & I divorced 5yrs ago and I remember trying to talk to him abt it whn my son was a teenager & he refused to talk abt it! My son is now 22yrs old & I still dnt knw if his dad has guessed or excepted it yet. He doesnt hv a great relationship with him anyway but ours is stronger than ever! I love him unconditionally & wouldnt chg him for anything in the world!
