Theme From Ontario Place

Found this at a garage sale this week and thought I'd share. This is the B-side to a Government of Ontario single put out to promote Ontario Place. The A-side is already posted by Retrontario and sounds like music for a TV station promoting it's fall lineup or a megasupermarket jingle. This version is a little more understated and sounds more "Canadian" to me, if that makes sense. I like both versions really. Written by Dolores Claman, the composer of the "Hockey Night In Canada" theme. Enjoy!

Real swingin' toe-tapper! I was at the first-morning opening of Ontario Place back in 1971...the joint was great, like a mini-Expo 67, far superior to what it's devolved to ...and this hard-to-forget brainwashing tune was playing EVERYWHERE - first time I've heard it in 40 years! We caught the first-ever public performance of IMAX "North of Superior" at Cinesphere; remains a pivotal cinematic experience for me. The audience was STUNNED.
