I seen Soul Surfer and that was two days ago! I need to return it, but can't quit watching it! Bethany, you rock and you're a true inspiration!! I could go on and on, but I want to say Thank you for sharing your life with all of us!! My 14 year old daughter Carli has problems making friends at school, but after seeing your movie, I have some ideas that give me hope to help her!!! She is absolutely unbelievable!! At the age of 13, when the attack happened, she was already recognized as an up and coming talent in women's competitions. It's more difficult to surf as a woman because men have so much more upper-body strength, which you need to paddle out, paddle into the right position for takeoff, and then to push yourself into the wave. That she can surf at this level with one arm is astonishing. If I did not see it with my own eyes I would not have believed it! Go girl!

well she was towed into the wave- still most people in the world could not have ridden that wave with two good arms..she is a very courageous woman- and to carry on after such a viscious attack and excel in a sport which really requires two good arms is truly amazing. I am so proud of her and her courage..and she is still a very cute gal..
