I cannot believe how this guy is decribing Solin! Solin is amazing and he's wrong about quite a few things. The community in Solin is amazing, we have several common rooms, including computer rooms, study rooms and a HUGE basement with tons of places to hang out and chill. Secondly, the metro comes every 2 minutes in the morning and max every 10 minutes later at night. If you want to get out of the McGill bubble, this is the place to be!

Solin is really much better than this video says it is. Check out some of the other videos or talk to someone who took advantage of the place. Don't get down on Solin because of this video, really! It's actually magic and beautiful. It's super community oriented and people chill together CONSTANT.

that solin guy played down solin so much! i loved solin, thought everyone was so friendly, you become good friends with everyone on your floor. the trip to school wasn't a hassle at all - it was great to have a metro pass to explore montreal on weekends.

I live in Solin, and I'd say, contrary to what the guy from Solin says, there is a great community at Solin. Doors are always open and people really get to be like a big family.
