Indian Cove during Irene at peak water. The blue house is my father's and was purchased by his father in the Forties. The view from inside the house was quite intense. I'll post that when I can. But this slideshow gives a good sense of the violence that visited the Southern Ct shoreline. The old timers of Indian Cove told me this was the highest, roughest water they had ever seen. Happily the houses on the beach escaped serious damage. If the water had been even a foot higher I believe they would have really taken a hit. Photography by me. Photo credit for the opening photo goes to Tim Wagner. Thanks for sharing Tim! Many people at the Cove were taking photos that day. If you got any spectacular shots around the Cove or at the beach you would care to share please write me at hannoverphyst@yahoo.com. Thanks, Derek
great work , no so great memories, but we survived :)
