What about Charles Xavier and the Shroud?

Xavier isn't so much a crime fighter, and the Shroud I realize is blind but I don't think he cleans up the streets, either.
In that capacity, Daredevil is one of the only/few.

Dardevil started out pretty lighthearted but nowadays he can be pretty dark so yeah, that could actually work!

Excellent tribute to the excellent Man without Fear the one the only magnificent Daredevil. I hope a new DD is made because it had far to many problems.

True, I think it's because with his radar Daredevil isn't considered blind and with his enhanced hearing he'd be deaf in real life from all the loud noises he hears while on patrol every night. (Hmm, maybe if he had a healing factor to let him grow new eardrums...)
