  • @johan52312 Wasw he nice>?

  • I was playing in these performances in the 1st violin section, what a voice!

  • I saw him in recital only a week or so before this performance. I'll never get over it as long as I live. A phenomenal sound, so much power and passion, pure uncompromising truth blazing out - he's right up there on the highest peak along with Oistrakh, Rostropovich and Sviatoslav Richter. Genius.

  • His voice is perfect for this style of singing for sure. I'd like to hear him sing Old Man River, or In Tiefen Keller. Those songs wold show off his voice as well.

  • That's a good one, hahaha!

  • Martti is completely amazing. I almost worship this guy!

  • impressive, frightning, and beautiful.

  • Thank you so much for posting this! Without a doubt my favorite bass voice and a fantastic role for him. And what a beard!

  • For me it's equal, Russian or Finnish... I know the text because I heard this a lot in my mother language from our great bass Mihály Székely.

    Martti is awesome.
