Good job. I had an old coon hunting neighbor when I lived in Nacogdoches, with a 4th grade eudcation, but he could sing every Jimmie Rogers song on my album from memory. I bet he hadn't heard JR in 30 years. Your vid brought back some good memories. Thanks. // Your intro reminded me of that line in the "Blues Brothers" movie where the bar maid told Belushi that they played both kinds of music, country, and western.

My daddy use to sing this song too..... along with all the other Jimmie Rodgers' songs. Your cover is very good. I don't know if you know the history of Rodgers or not but often wen he sang his voice was "trashed" too, so it was somewhat appropriate that you recorded this with a gravely voice.

I'm in love! Wasn't sure 'til I came across this vid, but now it's confirmed. My Dad used to sing this one too. You've got a great way of delivering songs that just draws a person in and won't let go. A girl as cute as you that puts such heart into a genre of songs that so many people never hear....yep, I'm definitely in love. Thanks for sharing all your vids.
