Marta Ledford 1940 - 2011

Marta Lee Ledford, age 71, of Adrian, passed away, September 17, 2011, at home. She was born January 25, 1940, in Adrian, MI, the
daughter of Harley & Ruth (Baker) Like. On August 4, 1973, she married Roy Ledford. He survives. Marta was a loyal fan of the Michigan Wolverines, Detroit Tigers and Detroit Red Wings. In addition to her husband Roy, she is survived by three daughters, Lisa Zubke, Julie Moore and Lori (Ed) Howard, her grandchildren, Candice Moore, Michelle Moore, Megan Zubke, Craig Zubke, Carrie Zubke, Nicole Casanova and Jacob Casanova and her brother, Harley Like, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Garry Moore, her daughter, Lynn Renee Moore, her brother, William Like and sister,
Karen Blanton. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday,
September 24, 2011, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, with
Rev. Chris Cadwallader officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday,
September 22, 2011, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. Gilbert Purse
Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made
