This experiment was all about psilocybin mushrooms!! Timothy leary didnt fall out of his mother with an acid tab in his hand!! If you know anything about his life his first introduction to his life of PSYCHEDELICS was on PSILOCYBIN MUSHROOMS and he was introduced to mushrooms before he knew anything about LSD. This experiment was a psilocybin (magic mushroom experiment) because at this stage Timothy Leary had not discovered Acid! ;-)

I've been into an Abbey on mushrooms before. Surprisingly (to me) it was a very tranquil place to be and a guide there told us a nice story about the saint (St. Alban) it was named after. I do quite enjoy Christian mythology, shame some people can't see it for the metaphor that it is.

I know Leary mainly promoted the use of LSD but it clearly says at the start of this video that in this experiment it was psilocybin (mushrooms) that was/were used.

the gov doesnt want drugs out there, duh, that's why they waste millions of dollars on the drug war, when everyone has their free will and will ultimately do whatever they want to do no matter what people learn in DARE. DARE is full of propaganda anyways. there are many negatives to drugs but particular ones, especially marijuana and lsd, have many positives as well. they bring people together and open up their minds. of course the gov doesnt want that.
