wow. So, I'm all about free speech and expressing differences of opinion, but frankly I'm tired of getting comment notices in my inbox and email about "conversate". This was intended to celebrate the "mad scientist" not to create a dialogue about "illiteracy" "ignorance" & "inner city trash". C'mon people, just have a good laugh every once in a while without all of the political commentary.

it's slang, but conversate is a word. I guess it's like how australians pronounce aluminum as "aluminium". Not a big deal - some people just like to believe they don't have any words they use that others would consider dumb.

Funny because I had no idea that just because using the word "Conversate" makes you "Backwards, ignorant, illiterate inner city trash who mean to say converse" I had no earthly idea that just because I used that word made me all those things. If that makes me that then I guess that a lot of us are "Backwards, ignorant, illiterate, inner city trash who mean to say converse"

Its an honest mistake and for you to go and claim that people who use that word are all of those makes YOU ignorant.

It was no mistake. I hear it almost every day by those who have no sense of personal pride or responsibility. I hear it from those who like being ignorant and stupid and take pride in it. I'm sorry if telling the truth is something that offends you and your personal values. But that's OK, when you are wrong and have no real defense, just call people names, I'm sure it's one of the things you do best.

So calling people "Backwards, ignorant, illiterate inner city trash who mean to say converse" is right because you have the pride and responsibility? You are wrong. If someone is raised with their parents saying "Conversate" they follow suit, does that make a child "Backwards, ignorant, illiterate inner city trash who mean to say converse" No. You are in the wrong and someone called you out.

Yes, children do learn mistakes from their parents but as they become aware as an adult that things they are doing are wrong they have a responsibility to correct those things. Not only are these people making mistakes but they enjoy and actively promote being stupid. Then they wonder why no one gives them the respect they "deserve".

You deserve no shred of respect, those same people that make this common mistake keep our society moving. Before you call someone or some people you don't know. I'm done with you, you thought you could get away with a small mental victory in your head but someone called you out and pointed out your ignorance to call people names intentionally like that.

I have proven my point, and even more so, you have proven my point. I have won nothing because you continue on with your life willingly remaining ignorant and promoting stupidity. You obviously aren't willing to learn. Perpetuate the cycle of stupidity, have kids and teach them to be stupid.
