Vozidlo Dingo 2 v české armádě... Celkem je ve výzbroji AČR 19 vozidel Dingo 2.

The ATF Dingo is a German heavily armored military infantry mobility vehicle based on a Unimog chassis with a V-hull design, produced by the company Krauss-Maffei Wegmann. It is designed to withstand land mines, rifle fire, artillery fragments and NBC-threats. ATF stands for Allschutz-Transport-Fahrzeug, meaning all-protected transport vehicle in German. It is named after the wild dog dingo.

The ATF Dingo has a modular design of the following five elements: chassis, protection cell, storage space, engine compartment, and its bottom mine blast deflector. Its design is lighter and includes an armored chassis with a blast pan instead of the more common monocoque hull found in modern blast resistant vehicles. KMW's layered Modular Expandable Armor System (MEXAS) is used and the windows are angled to deflect blasts and bullets. A tarp is used over the back storage area instead of metal to save weight.

A mechanical weapons station utilizing periscopes, borrowed from KMW's Fennek, is located on the top of the vehicle. The weapons station allows the operator to sit safely inside the cabin. Recently the Bundeswehr ordered several hundreds of fully remote-controlled weapons stations from KMW for its Dingos and other armoured vehicles. - The light "FLW 100" (for the MG3 or the MG4) and the heavy "FLW 200" (for the M3M or the HK GMG). The weapons stations are automatically controlled via a monitor inside the vehicle.

The ATF Dingo 2 is an advanced version of the Dingo based on the upgraded Unimog U 5000 chassis, that offers improved protection and more payload. It is offered in two versions with 3,250 (3.5 tonnes payload) and 3,850 mm (4 tonnes payload) wheelbase. The Dingo 2 can seat 8 personnel.

  • @Dominik520520 Bullshit the Dingo has a exellent IED secure in his class. The MRAP weigh between 19 and 40 tons. The Dingo has only 12,5 t!! The MRAP is blastproff to 15 kg TNT . The Dingo only to 5 kg TNT .But in combat 3. Juni 2005 he took a 6kg tnt the crew survived with light injury . At 27. März 2008 the dingo took a 10 kg IED 2 soldiers take heavy insuraqnce and in soldier light insurance but everybody survived . And that ia a exellent IED security in his class .

  • And then everyone dies in an IED blast because it's not as blastproof as the MRAP vehicles.

  • @hotrod4you2

No few years ago it was called Czechoslovakia you dumb fuck.

  • @shindoso

From what i head czech soldiers are not satisfied with dingo at all.

  • Vojáci tomuto vozidlu říkají "Zasraný Barták" ..vědí proč

  • @shindoso WOW ITS RUN DOWN AMERICA,SO U HAVE A CHOICE TO PICK WHAT YOUR PEOPLE WANTS,THANKS GREAT, FREEDOM IS PRETTY COOL,WAS'NT THIS COUNTRY CALLED USSR A FEW YRS AGO? AND WHY IS IT FREE TO PICK WHAT YOU WANT? DO U THINK IF THE GERMAN WON WW2 YOU WOULD BE GERMAN NOW,AND NOT RUSSIAN, SO LETS RUN AMERICA DOWN FOR THIS AND THAT, IT'S PRETTY LAME YOUR SO-CALLED FRIENDS RUN U DOWN, NO THANKS NEEDED WE ARE USE IT.BESIDE WE HAVE A MACHINE CALLED "OSHKOSH MRAP M-ATV,THE HUMVEE IS OVER 20YR OLD.

  • We use the Dingo 2 as well in our military (Belgium). It has served us well in Afghanistan till now. The infantry is a lot safer inside this vehicle then in a humvee. That's a simple fact :)

US military is already looking for a successor of their Humvee, as it's now deployed in situations it wasn't designed for, sadly they haven't found a worthy alternative until now. Maybe they should look at the German vehicles, since their Leopard 2 tanks beats the US M1 Abrams as well.

  • @janak19771977 that's strange with the us soldiers i talked they rather have the Dingo 2 than the humvee

  • @MrLormes

Panacku ty nemas ani sajn o tom co rikas. MG 42 by i dneska strcil do kapsy jakykoliv podobny kulomet zavedeny v armadach NATO o nasi UK59 ani nemluve... Navic to ani 42 neni ale je to MG3, modernizovana verze pouzivana v Bundeswehru a pouzivajici standardni naboj NATO.
