Ninja 650R/ ER-6f - Top Speed Run

This video was filmed in 2005. (filmed back before they raised the fines for speeding tickets). The orange tape on the speedo is at the 100km/hr mark. The top speed on the speedo is 220km/hr.....and I bury the needle for a while. My guess is I hit somewhere between 230 and 240.

So does a 3500lb car. Cars kill many more people than motorcycles and they don't even have to be speeding. Maybe you should give up driving if you feel so strongly about endangering others.

If I hit a car going 100km/h I hit it with a force of 4167kgm/s. If a car hits another car at 100km/h it hits with a force of 27,778kgm/s. That's a force 6X greater than a motorcycle. That amount of force from a motorcycle if directed into the driver’s door will possibly break the drivers left arm or leg. A car hitting the same will kill a person and their passengers. A speeding motorcycle is not dangerous, and no they do not deserve to hurt themselves for 'endangering' others.

@soty022092 wrong... wearing protective correct gear limits the effects of the most common injuries people get from high speed crashes. on average wearing good gear means 1/3 the time spent in hospital from a non-fatal crash.
