I was inspired by a Kingdom Hearts video by avidityy, who's really great when it comes to videos!
Story:
When Shadow the Hedgehog had first met Midna, the Twilight Princess, they were in good terms with each other. In secret, Shadow really admires Midna as a friend, and Midna feels the same way, but kept it all to themselves. But then Twilight began to cover the land, as Zant makes his move to kill Midna. Heartless then appears around the duo, Midna preparing to use the Fused Shadows as Shadow holds them off. But it was all a trap as Midna was held against her will. Shadow then turns around as he witnessed this, as Zant uncovered the Twilight into the light again, but since Midna is a Twili-Dweller, she cannot bear the world of light. Shadow then remembers his inner-friendship towards Midna, and rushes to save her. However, Midna had died before his eyes, and Shadow could not bear to look at what he would have prevented. Midna was gone, and it was his fault.
