Steppin' is SICK!!! GJ

Just wanted to help out with some of the chords.
The 2nd Chord you play is a Fm9 (with no 3rd, put that is the implied harmony), the 3rd Chord is a Bb13, the 4th chord is an Ebmajor9, the 5th chord is an Am7(b5) (it would be an F9 the bass line was an F, but from your video it looks it's an A)

Nice tone

Nice brotha man- I'm the one that posted the other version, which I have seen kraz play- but this is money though- Especially for the original studio version- Nice job.

Also I can't really get those down can you transcribe those chords as in just plan old tabbing(the numbers) i can't quite see where you fingers lay. thats asking a lot but maybe just post it here instead of another vid. Your chords are money.
Close.
many jazz songs use variations of this progression such as "Sunny" (check out pat martino, scofield, and joey de francesco doing that song). Even part of soulives version of "jesus childeren" play around with this progression in the key of Amin. anyway here are the chord names .
Key of Gmin
Gmin7 (9 is optional)
Fmin7
Bb13(sounds best in the 3rd pos. with the 9 on the high e string)
Ebmaj7 (9 optional)
Amin7 b5
D7#9
repeat with swagger

Nice video! Thanks for breaking down that progression. In fairness to the other guy posting Steppin' chords, I've seen Kraz play it both ways, I think he tends to play it your way more when he's comping chords during neal's solo. Great job!

Yeah he has a variety of was of playing it. Recently I think he's been playing it the way I have it layed out here though. I might make another video going over the entire song if anyone has trouble with it.
