Could not have surgery for the first 3 days, but was kept on morphine, antibiotics and blood transfusions.
Surgery on 3rd day found holes through his spleen, colon spilling feces into his abdomen with profuse peritonitis.He was cleaned and flushed, sewed up and put on 5 different antibiotics besides kept on morphine. Movie was taken a few days after surgery.
UPDATE Today is April 2011 so it has been SEVEN MONTHS. It took him 2 months to recover, but he is back to normal, active , eats well, as if he does not carry the three pellets which are still inside him.

That's so great that you have been caring for him..That's so sad that has happened to him, but you are a wonderful lady and he will be in great shape before long
