Why do they always try and past him, its obvious to anyone who follows hockey, that ovechkin has a wide stance, it causes him problems everywhere he goes, but if you keep replaying it at 1:20 or so, you'll see that Gonchar tries to avoid the hit and the knees collide. Probably have to turn off the sound to block out the annoying commentator's pandering again... they do it everywhere, its annoying.

I was surprised that he did'nt jump too or used his elbow. That's mostly how Ovechkin hits... whait you can't call them hits, i meant penalties

I don't think he mwnt it, he just had his knee to far out and they collided. Both players escaped with out losing a career so it's nothing too bad but Ovi you gotta watch those knees. One knee on knee can end two careers.
