Awesome game! I loved the aspect of ship to ship battles in this one.

At first I was turned off by the huge amount of sailing you're supposed to do. Once I accepted it, 'Suikoden IV' turned out to deliver a really good RPG-time.

@dnangelfan24 Compared to the likes of McDohol and Rui, I'm really not a fan, but thats your opinion, and a very valid one :)

@Hiscrayz Well, he's young, only a boy, and he's forced to fight day in and day out in a war he was pushed into, and the next thing he knows he's leading an entire army, it's some pretty heavy shit to go through, and I would imagine he was desgined with these things in mind. I liked his overall character, seeing how most RPGs for the PS2 were silent, it was nothing new, and picking your own dialogue was a new addition to me, so Suikoden just blew me away.

@dnangelfan24 You would be right there, I just thought his character design was pretty bad in game IMO. However, I loved him in Rhapsodia.

@Hiscrayz I actually found Lazlo a great leader for the army. He was inspirational, and showed with action and dedication what words could not.

Worst protagonist ever.

3 is much better than 4, but 4 is still worth playing if you are a suikoden fan. It would be a lot of fun to play 1 after 5 because you'd be going in chronological order.
the accordion in this song is so cool :D

No. God no. A PS2 remake.... MAYBE I'd play it, IF they hadn't touched the game. Perhaps mastered it a little bit, readprooved it, added a few little new things. Perhaps Suikoden V graphics, maybe so, maybe not. Remakes can be really tricky. They can as easily be fucking awesome, or they can totally suck and NOT match up to it's original. Take a look at Wild Arms: Alter Code F. It had nothing on it's original version.
But, I'll be damned if I'd ever vote for a PS3 remake. It'd ruin it.
