As human beings we must always speak up against dictatorships, especially 53 year old ones that are a scant 90 miles from US shores. Cynical morons love to bash those who give a shit. I 'get' why they do it, they loath people of principle, of conviction and of moral certitude. Traits which they lack. I pity the morally mediocre, they try to harm, oblivious of the fact that while envy shoots at others, it only ends up wounding itself. Mediocrity can TYPE, but only genius can observe.

I cry watching this, I cannot bear it. What we had what was stolen from us and for what? What good came out of it all? Nothing but misery and shame for our fellow countrymen who are still stuck in that hell hole.

I have hope though, the Cuban spirit is so strong & indomitable. One day we'll be able to return, hopefully to help rebuild & politically reshape our beloved Cuba. I don't think it'll take as long to rebuild as it has taken the communists to tear down.

Qué lástima, cuánto se ha perdido en Cuba por culpa de Castro y no sólo de él, sino de todos sus colaboradores, que fueron muchos. Me temo que esa Cuba pujante que aparece en el vídeo es irrecuperable. Cuba ha sido desmantelada económica y moralmente. Las mejores familias emigraron a Florida en las primeras oleadas de exiliados. En fin.

I dated a man who was born here but his parents were born in Cuba. We broke up because we weren't meant to be married but are still good friend. The stories his parents told about pre and post Castro will make you cry. His grandma was killed for having church services in her basement by Castro's people.
