Please Be Mine Episode 14

(Selena's POV:)
Nick and I walked back to my house and stepped inside I think everyone was already asleep early were going to the amusment park about 3 hours away tomorrow so everyone was trying to get their sleep because we were going to leave around 6am to be there at 9 when the park opened.
"I guess I'll see you in the morning. We should see if we can take your car and follow your moms along with Kevin's. Kevin, Danielle, Joe and Chelsea are going in Kevin's rental car and Our parents are going in your parents car. We could get alone and be able to talk more if we took your car." Nick said softly whispering.
"I'd be still not awake enough to drive." I giggled softly.
"I'll drive, you don't have to drive 3 hours. I will." Nick smiled.
I smiled and hugged him.
"I'll see you in the morning though okay?" Nick whispered in my ear hugging me.
"Yeah." I whispered.
"Goodnight." Nick pulled away and kissed me quickly then disapeared behind the sliding door after he locked it.
I walked around the house and turned most the lights off before going upstairs to get ready for bed. I switched into Aeropostale shorts and a White Aeropostale tank top then slid into my bed pulling the covers over me. I fell asleep thinking about what life would be like if Nick and I were together forever.

(Nick's POV:)
I woke up at 3 in the morning to the hail pounding the top of the roof. Most of Selena's family was heavy sleepers and so were mine. I remembered that Selena wasn't a heavy sleeper and she was always scared of thunderstorms because when we were 6 we were in my front yard and it started to hail really hard and I ran inside but she refused to come with me so sticks from trees began breaking off and flung at her. Every since then she'd always been scared of them. I was in my Pajama's but I ran out of the guest house and found my way inside without getting soaked by the rain. I climbed inside threw a window and shut it so it wouldn't rain inside. I quietly but quickly made my way up the stairs and intp Selena's room. I looked at her bed as lightning flashed threw her window and her blankets were pushed back with nothing laying under it. I looked around the room then heard Selena's cry weakly. I looked in the corner to see Selena in the corner of her room, her knees curled up to her chest crying.
"Selena." I said softly and rushed over to her. "It's okay, the storm can't hurt you." I picked her up and sat in the corner with her in my lap.
"It's loud." Selena jumped as lightning lit the room and thunder boomed.
I held her a little tighter.
"It's okay, I'm here. I won't let it hurt you, I'm here to protect you.."I whispered in her ear.
I looked down, I was tired really tired. I kissed her shoulder and looked up at her.
Selena's tears were just starting to lighten up on her face and she rested her head into my chest.
"Shhh." I gently rocked her as if she were a baby that wouldn't stop crying. I know from her crying that she was already tired.
I saw her close her eyes and I continued to rock her until I'd watch her head fall back letting me know she was really asleep.
About 5 minutes later I watched her head pop back. I stood up, walked over to her bed and laid her down pulling the covers over her watching her twist to her side, pull the blanket up more and then stop. I stood there next to her and watched her sleep, she rolled back and forth for awhile.
I finally gave up and fell next to her without waking her up.
Tomorrow would be the day where our family's might actually find out were together. Where I could spend the entire day with her. Hopefully have her all to myself soon.
