As I was! The person on the left isn't a kid. Apologies. The height messed me up. If it's only one kid, then the focus should be on syncronisation. Still a fair first performance though.

The performance of the fifers was less than inspiring, but I think it's because of the age of the two kids. One or two more experienced fifers should be recruited and it will cover up the youth.

Actually, two of the three fifers have been playing less than a year. (And they're both kids.) We would love to have two or more experienced fifers! They're not that easy to find.

The Civil War Troopers host a muster there every year. It's always the 4th Saturday in July. It's a small muster, but one of the best jam sessions of the year.
